All tour itineraries are fully customised to your teaching program.
At Academy Travel, we aim to go above and beyond and make your job as easy as possible by providing exceptional levels of service and sharing our years of knowledge in both travel and education. While we offer suggested itineraries based on the syllabus dot points, we work with each educational provider to develop a tailor-made program. We can use our experience to provide a practical itinerary that maximises the time on the ground while not being too exhausting for participants.

Contact Academy Travel to discuss your itinerary and request a customised quote.
Request initial approval from the principal and relevant governing body to offer the tour.
Academy Travel will provide a Tour Offer detailing the itinerary, inclusions and booking terms and conditions for your tour.

Once the Tour Offer is accepted, Academy Travel will provide marketing flyers to promote your tour to families.
Gauge the level of interested participants by collecting Expressions of Interest.
Once you have deemed to have enough interest for the tour, we will hold an information evening at your school with an Academy Travel representative.
The school will then take bookings using an appropriate booking form and collect a deposit from all registered students.
If the minimum amount of participant bookings are reached, the tour will become confirmed and deposits will be due to Academy Travel.
An Academy Travel Tour Profile will be required to be completed by each booked student to collect all required information to organise and run the tour.
Any further special requests should be provided to Academy Travel at this time.

If required, compile the required risk management documentation – assistance can be provided by Academy Travel.
Instalment payments will be due at 6 months prior to travel

Rooming breakdowns will be provided by the Product Manager for completion.
Assistance may be required in chasing down documents for each participant.

70 days prior, final payment is due.
Approximately 4 weeks prior, we will conduct a pre-departure meeting at your school in which travel documents and a full briefing on the practical aspects of the tour will be given.

Meet the group at the airport with check-in assistance by an Academy Travel representative (for NSW schools only flying from Sydney).
Farewell families at the departure gate and bon voyage!
